The Tower of Panama Viejo is a historical icon, tower of the cathedral of the first Panama City, located in the eastern sector. Today it is part of a site of important archaeological finds. After the pirate attack and several fires, the city was moved to what we know today as Casco Antiguo in San Felipe.
